Meet Chinese Automotive OEMs and Investors on EV and Intelligent Mobility
As China become the world largest and fast growing market for new energy vehcile and intelligent mobility, to support UK automotive companies (including SMEs and start-ups) to get involved and seize opportunities in the market, Department for International Trade and British Embassy Beijing will work with the Chinese partner EV100, the most influential industry association/think tank in China for new energy vehicle, to organise a one-week comprehensive programme. During this one-week time, you'll get plenty of opportunities to meet with major Chinese automotive OEMs and investors and obtain the most updated information on China's policies, current development and future strategies on new energy vehicle and intelligent mobility, which will all help you identify the right timing, right opportunity and right partner. Also leverage the huge market and capital from China to facilitate commercialisation of innovative technologies.
11th January Arrive in Beijing
12th-13th January Visit to Tianjin. To meet with four major OEMs in Tianjin Automotive Cluster (total investment over $10 billion). They have strong interests to collaborate with overseas supply chain companies. All the expenses for the visit will be shouldered by Tianjin.
14th-15th January Forums at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing.
1) UK-China Forum. Major OEMs, including Beijing Auto, BYD, Chery, Geely, Changan, Lifan, Yutong, Guangdong Auto, Shanghai Auto, NextEV, LeEco, Baidu, Huawei and etc, will all attend the session to listen to presentations from each participating UK companies. At least five one-to-one meetings will be arranged for each company after the presentation session.
2) EV100 Forums. High-level representatives from Chinese government, OEMs and prestigious scientists will introduce the most updated policies, strategies and technologies.It's the best opportunity to get comprehensive knowledge of the Chinese market for new energy vehicle and intelligent mobility and network with key people in the sector.
16th January Visit in Beijing. Meet with Beijing Auto, LeEco and Autohome
17th January Visit in Shanghai. Meet with NextEV and Shanghai Auto
18th January Fly back to the UK
