Who is invited:  Adult and student job seekers with disabilities, Job Developers, Job Coaches, Counselors, YTP Teachers and all support staff

 

When: Doors open at 12:45 p.m., event begins promptly at 1:00 p.m.

 

Forum: Incight, Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation, and WorkSource Lane are hosting an informational job-connection event where job seekers with disabilities are introduced to entry- level career opportunities. Representatives from attending agencies will take part in a panel-style Q&A session, directed by Incight (which will include insider tips on how to successfully navigate the application process). This informational session will be followed by time for one-on-one networking with the agencies' representatives.

 

Participating Organizations:  UPS, Looking Glass, City of Eugene, and Starbucks - plus more to come!

 

We suggest exploring the webpage of each participating agency prior to the event so you can learn more about each one and note their current job openings in order to maximize your networking opportunities with each representative.

 

Parking:  Visit LTD.org to see what public transportation route is available from your starting point. If you are driving, free parking is available in two parking lots onsite - one on the south side of the building, and the other on the north side. We are not able to validate for public transit or parking.

 

Accommodation: We are happy to provide accommodations to help you be successful at the event! Just contact us at least 5 days prior to the event. Contact Kimberly B at (971) 244-0305 or kimberlyb@incight.org to request accommodation. ASL interpreters will only be available by request.


 

This event is free to attend, open to job seekers with disabilities and their employment support staff.

Who can attend this event?
Job seekers with disabilities are invited to participate, plus employment specialists, counselors, job developers, support staff, parents, teachers, who support individuals with disabilities. 


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Visit LTD.org to see what public transportation route is available from your starting point. If you are driving, you can access two free lots onsite - one on the south side of the building, and the other on the north side.  We are not able to validate for parking or public transit tickets.


What should I bring to the event?

Bring a pen and paper for note taking, and a snack or lunch as food will not be provided. You may bring support staff with you but please make sure they register so that we have plenty of space for everyone.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope!


Will you provide an accommodation?
