About the Speakers:
- Arnnon Geshuri is the Chief People Officer at Livongo Health. In this role, he is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, workforce development, and culture.

Previously, Arnnon was the Vice President of Human Resources (CHRO) at Tesla and was responsible for driving people and workplace operations and the global recruitment efforts. During his tenure from 2009 through 2017, he oversaw the growth of Tesla from a 400-person scrappy startup to an integrated sustainable energy company with more than 40,000 people around the globe.

Prior to Tesla, Arnnon was the senior director of staffing operations for Google where he designed the company’s legendary recruitment organization and talent acquisition strategy. Arnnon joined Google in late 2004, when the company just emerged from its IPO and employed around 2,500 people. As their first chief staffing architect. he oversaw all aspects of global recruitment and helped Google evolve into a technology powerhouse with over 25,000 employees – a workplace considered the premier destination for ambitious software engineers.

Before Google, Arnnon was vice president of human resources and director of global staffing for E*TRADE Financial. In the first 18 months, he supported the rapid growth of the company through multiple acquisitions and hired an additional 2,000 employees to broaden the company from an online brokerage house to a fintech disruptor with an expansive portfolio of financial products and services.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Applied Materials where he served as the HR liaison to the company’s Asia Pacific operations and built and managed the corporate-wide staffing organization as the company scaled by another 7,000 global employees within 2 years.

During the 2000s, he launched a startup focused on developing project management software for the service industry and in the early 1990s, he was an organizational effectiveness consultant for New United Motors Manufacturing (NUMMI), the Fremont, Calif.-based joint venture of Toyota and General Motors.

In addition to his industry work, he currently sits on several startup and academic advisory boards including the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business Master of Science Program in Business Analytics.

Arnnon has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California at Irvine and a master’s in industrial/organizational psychology from San Jose State University.

- Alex Shubat is the co-founder and CEO of Espresa, a developer of Culture Benefit solutions. He brings extensive history in executive management to his leadership of Espresa.
Most recently he served as the CEO of Goji FS, an NEA-backed startup in the food-tech space.
As co-founder and CEO of Virage Logic, a semiconductor provider based in Silicon Valley, he oversaw the company’s highly successful performance and acquisition by Synopsys.
He is a member of the Band of Angels and J-Angels. He is on the Industry Advisory Boards of Santa Clara University and the University of Toronto.
He holds an executive MBA from Stanford University, a BS and MS from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. from Santa Clara University.

She co-founded Russian Speaking Women in Tech Silicon Valley community that accounts for 2,850 talented local women in technology. Currently, she is working with ThreatMetrix division of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, helping Fortune 50 Tech and E-Commerce corporations such as Microsoft, Ebay, Intuit and Wal-Mart to save millions of dollars in fraud losses.
Prior to this, Julia held various positions at Telecom and Banking/Financial Industry. Julia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Geography from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Software Programming Certificate from John Bryce Institute, MBA from HaUniversita Ha-Ptuha of Israel, and Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate from Stanford University.
