Join us for our December Meditation Series, and learn to use your breath to calm and focus your mind, increase mental agility and improve productivity.
You will learn simple, easy and practical techniques that allow you to live more fully by quieting your mind and connecting you to the present reality. In this hands-on seminar, will learn the history of the practice. the science that demonstrates its efficacy, and how a regular practice leads to better leadership. You will learn basic skills to start practicing immediately without need for any special tools or equipment.
*Due to the progressive nature of the trainings, attendees are recommended to register for all three sessions.
Kirstin Broderick, the Founder and CEO of NorthScale, a Corporate & Executive Meditation firm, has practiced Zen meditation for 18 years. She has a Masters in Strategic Management & Economic Development (MPA, Harvard) and Masters in Counseling (MSW, Fordham). Kirstin completed her first intensive three-day silent meditation training in 1998 in rural Japan, and became a student of Roshi Janet Jiryu Abels of Still Mind Zendo in NYC in 2004. She received Jukai – or Zen Ordination – in 2012, and was given the dharma name Daikatsu, translated as Great Liveliness, or Big Life.
