Reset your nervous system with some basic relaxation techniques from different meditation modalities. Learn how to influence changes within the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. Focus will be on sound, movement, breathing, and mindfulness.
Instructor:
Tasha Valentino is a parent, author, mentor, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, educator, and life coach. Credentials range from Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Master of Arts in Public Administration, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to certifications or training in: Adult hatha yoga, Children yoga, anger management, Japanese relaxation techniques (Reiki), Pranic healing, Assertiveness life coach, Angel card reading, Qigong, metaphysics and Shamanism. For years she has volunteered once a week facilitating meditation groups in the local community. In addition to speaking at different high schools and colleges motivating individuals to reach beyond false limitations. Among them are Peace and Diversity High School, Long Island University , Monroe College, and The Felisa Rincón de Gautier Institute for Law and Public Policy High School.Tasha, expresses much gratitude for the opportunity to share her knowledge and advocate for others to build a healthier tomorrow. She states “if we take responsibility to help one another, we have the strength to transform the world into a better place.” Therefore she strives to enlighten others to understand they are not alone because ultimately “we are all one.”
