Event description

Description

Students and staff across London universities, museums, and research institutes are welcome to 'Medieval Women, Women Readers', a wikithon to mark International Women's Day 2018.

The workshop includes a half-hour introduction to Wikipedia editing, followed by plenty of time to create and improve articles, and a chance to celebrate and share the work done!

Newcomers are absolutely encouraged! Dr So Mayer ran 'She Must Be Wiki: A Feminist Film Club Wikiathon with Club des Femmes and ICA', and will provide an introduction to editing and contributing from a feminist perspective.

See our blog for how you can get ready for the Wikithon.

Wednesday 28 March 2018
1:00-4:30pm
Senate House, Room 349 *note room change*

Snacks and drinks will be provided to help fuel our editing.

Make sure you also sign up to our Press for Progress: Medieval Studies + Feminism round table, which starts at 5:00pm this same evening.
