Description

Welcome all,

I am pleased to invite you to this unique opportunity to train with Kate Curtis and discover best practices on engaging with the media.

Customized for our group, this session will show you how to effectively structure your message, communicate with ease, and understand your rights when dealing with the press to get the headlines you want.

Join us Saturday, June 3 8:30a-11:30a for a live group training. Following the group training, 4 individual sessions are available for personalized camera work coaching. See tickets to reserve.

It's crucial that you have access to the 'next level' skill trainings you need to polish your leadership, and we all know -- the trainer has to be GOOD. After interviewing several media training options in Seattle, I am pleased to present the most on-point and in-her-power trainer in the city:

KATE CURTIS President, Communication Tactics

Communication strategist, author and English Channel swimmer Kate Curtis is president of Communication Tactics and founder of Grounded in Strength©.

Kate provides presentation training and media coaching to business executives nationwide, with a strong focus on content flow & organization, message clarity, delivery skills and speaking style.

Recently, Kate founded Grounded in Strength©, a communication skills training program that's "Borrowed from Athletes and Applied to Business", designed specifically for women in leadership. This program is a culmination of over 20 years working with women executives and researching gender differences in communication style. Kate utilizes the principles of athletic success to help women increase their credibility within the business environment and become strong and confident speakers.

Prior to starting her own business, Ms. Curtis worked in the Business Communications sector for many years, providing training, development and sales leadership. Former editor, reporter, and videographer, Kate’s career in broadcasting started over 25 years ago in Washington DC at WETA-FM 91, National Public Radio, where she learned to edit audio tape with a razor blade. Since then, she has worked at ABC and CBS affiliated television stations.
