This class is For Eligible Persons Only. You may not enroll in this course if you do not meet the criteria of an eligible person in the Terms & Conditions

Description:

We will need a minimum of 10 students to conduct the class. Please register ASAP. Contractor employees need to have a City of Phoenix Journeyman License or a notarized letter on company letter head stating that the individual applying for certification has at least four (4) years of trade related experience.

NFPA 99-2015 Standard for Health Care Facilities is covered in this class. Installers include anyone who works on or installs piping or components, in healthcare facilities including dental offices. The purpose of this class is to provide the minimum performance criteria, for Medical Gas Systems Installers to assure compliance with ASSE Standard 6010.

Students will be required to successfully complete a written examination as well as a brazing

practical exam in which you will be required to braze vertical and horizontal full-penetration joints

on 1 ½” copper tubing.

Each student will need to bring to class, highlighters and page tabs

Requirements:

A book fee of $137.04 + processing fee payable to AZ Pipe Trades Apprenticeship. This will be refunded upon finishing the class. If you wish to keep your books we will keep the fee.
Must pass hands-on Brazing test. Must be Dressed for Work. Long Pants, :Long sleve shirt, Work boots, Safety Glasses, Gloves

Prerequisites:

4 years experience in the trades or have completed 4th year of your apprenticeship
