Five-part training series hosted by OHS. Trainings provide tools to meal providers serving Philadelphians. Part Two: ServeSafe.

About this event

Hosted by the Philadelphia Office of Homeless Services, this five-part training series aims to equip meal providers with tools and resources to better serve homeless and food-insecure Philadelphians. Trainings will be hosted inside the Hub of Hope and will cover topics ranging from nutrition, first aid, de-escalation, and more.

The purpose of this fifth workshop is to train meal provider staff and volunteers in ServeSafe Food Handlers license. ServeSafe experts will utilize their expertise during this four hour training to certify meal providers with the credentials necessary to serve outdoors meals in Philadelphia.

Attendees should expect to:

  • Receive all books and materials necessary to become a ServeSafe Food Handler.
  • Take the ServSafe Food Handler Assessment after completing training to earn your food handler credential.
  • Understand the importance of responsible food service measures.

Please RSVP.
