MDP | New Visions highlights innovative and diverse world premieres created for McKoy Dance Project. Coming on May 14th, 2022, McKoy Dance Project will premiere 3 new works by our Founder and Executive Artistic Director Derick McKoy, Jr, Associate Artistic Director Mikaela S. Brandon, and the extraordinary choreographer Christian A. Warner. Derick McKoy, Jr’s dynamic and empowering work, Hush, will also be a part of the program this year. Leading up to the in-person concert, McKoy Dance Project will be presenting a series of community events open to the public: intimate sneak previews into the new works with their choreographers, dance workshops, and America’s Truth presented by MDP | Tea Talks, a moderated panel discussion on race.
Join MDP live and in-person to enjoy impactful and diverse stories through dance and conversation.
