DESCRIPTION

MDASLA is proud to host our third Annual Conference on Saturday, April 27. This year’s conference will include sessions on custom product development, public stewardship, green infrastructure, and integrated pest management among others. We will gather at 7:30am and wrap up by 5:00pm for a full day of engaging topics, intriguing conversations, and professional networking. Student portfolio reviews will be offered during lunchtime. We will again be graciously hosted at Vectorworks in Columbia, MD.

The conference will consist of six educational sessions (LA CES credits pending) and a vendor expo to be enjoyed throughout the day. A light breakfast and catered lunch will be provided to attendees.

Founded in 1972, the Maryland Chapter of the ASLA is the professional association for landscape architects, representing more than 370 members within Maryland in 2009. Landscape architecture is a comprehensive discipline of land analysis, planning, design, management, preservation, and rehabilitation. ASLA promotes the landscape architecture profession and advances the practice through advocacy, education, communication, and fellowship.
