Conservatory of Westchester and Nigunim Festival are pleased to present
pianist Pete Malinverni in the MCW Recital Hall on Saturday, Oct. 15. This is the
second event of Nigunim 2011 - a festival of New improvised Jewish
About Pete Malinverni:
Malinverni, who is the musical director at Westchester Reform Temple, will present a special evening of solo piano music inspired by Jewish themes and spirituals. Malinverni is an accomplished jazz pianist who Stuart Troup, in a feature article in the New York Newsday has called “A supple player, full of Nuance”. Pete has released six critically acclaimed recordings as a leader, and is also a long time faculty member at SUNY Purchase’s prestigious Jazz program.
