Description

CALLING ALL MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE VIRGINIA AREA!

The McShin Foundation challenges you to find the answer to the following question:

"How many Virginians die each year due to addiction?"

This includes not only drug overdoses, but car accidents, health issues related to addiction, gunshots related to addiction, etc.

Use your resources - and cite them! We are looking for quality, reliable, and researched information leading to the answer to this question.

The contestant to come closest to the actual number, and has the sources to back it up, will receive a prize of $2,500 donated to their school or club. The winner and the award will be announced and presented at the October 7th CARE Talks event at the Virginia Historical Society (tickets available at www.caretalksrva.eventbrite.com).

Share with your neighbors, challenge your classmates, and invite your students!
