Description

The MCO Marathon is a non-profit organization. The Marathon is an annual running event that raises funds to fight childhood obesity in the Tarrant County area and in the school systems. The mco Marathon course is certified by the USA Track and Field Association and can be used to QUALIFY for the Boston Marathon, it is a flat out and back course along the Trinity River. We have food trucks, hot showers, LIVE MUSIC and FREE MONEY give away!!!

Mark your calendars now for March 21, 2020. See Race Information for details.

MCO Marathon is currently the second largest multi-event race in Texas. With distances for everyone, including both the Kids 5K Presented by Academy Sports and Adults 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, all-new Marathon Relay, and the Ultra Marathon, we welcome runners and walkers with all athletic abilities.

As part of The MCO Marathon’s mission to promote a lifelong love of fitness, The Run was created in 2009 to help tens of thousands of area children lace up and cross the finish line. Our staff and volunteers visit approximately 400 schools across Texas annually, training students in proper running technique and educating them about resting heart rate, the importance of hydration, proper nutrition and living an active lifestyle.
