We will be discussing Birds of America by Lorrie Moore. A copy of the book is included in the cost of the ticket.
The seminar will meet for 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings from 7PM to 8PM, beginning Tuesday, January 5th.
A four-part discussion of Lorrie Moore's seminal story collection, Birds of America, focusing on a few stories per class and exploring her tone, technique, humor and influence.
Sloane Crosley is the author of the essay collections I Was Told There'd Be Cake, How Did You Get This Number and Look Alive Out There, as well as the novel, The Clasp. Her new novel, Cult Classic, will be out from FSG next year.
