Spring Gala Ball
Join Global Fashion Superstar Madeline Stuart for a two-course dinner and dance the night away with Inside Outside Dance Ensemble. Have fun with our dress up booth, candy bar, games and prizes!
The Spring Gala Ball is an event for people with disabilities, family, friends and/or carers.
Tickets are $55 each or $500 per table (10). All guests should be 16+ years old.
Start the night by sitting down with friends to enjoy a delicious two-course dinner in the Regent Ballroom
Watch a performance by Inside Outside Dance Ensemble and join Madeline Stuart on the dance floor for a night of dancing and fun. Get your groove on to the musical delights of DJ Fuzzy Logic.
Have a laugh at our Dress Up booth, enjoy games and activities all night and join the fun to win a prize!
We recommend if you can, a taxi or a lift to and from the venue. There is limited parking nearby on High Street and Bastings Street. If you require wheelchair vehicle parking, please contact email@example.com for details.

Who is Madeline Stuart?
Madeline Stuart is an inspiring young woman who knows how to dream big and work hard to achieve her goals. Since 2014, she has been on an incredible journey with her mum Rosanne, inspiring millions of people to think differently about disability whilst changing society's perceptions of beauty - one photo shoot at a time. Madeline shot to international fame in September 2015 when she appeared as a model on the runway at New York Fashion Week. Madeline says 'I hope through modelling I can change societies view of people with Disabilities, exposure is creating awareness, acceptance and inclusion.'
Who is Inside Outside Dance Ensemble?
Inside Outside Dance Ensemble launched in Queensland in August 2015 to give young people with disability the opportunity to develop new skills and performance techniques in a variety of dance including contemporary, hip hop, aerial and experimental. Inside Outside say: 'The overall aim is to create a performance platform where emerging artists with disability can learn, create, explore and perform a body of work that we can tour regionally, nationally and hopefully internationally'.
Who is DJ Fuzzy Logic?
DJ Fuzzy Logic aka Ryan Schmidtke is a Geelong-based all-in-one music and light experience. Ryan controls and operates his sound and lighting show by ipad from his wheelchair. He loves nothing more than getting the groove on and seeing a dance floor full of movers and shakers.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All guests attending this event should be 16 years or older. ID is not required. Please send an email to email@example.com if you wish to bring a younger person with you to the event.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is limited in the area so we recommend, for those who can, getting a taxi or a lift to/from the venue. We have some parking available for those arriving in wheelchairs. Please follow the prompts in the order system if this applies to you or your fellow guests.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, you can transfer your ticket to another person by simply sending an email to email@example.com with the names of the guest(s) attending and no longer attending.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to update any of the information provided with your booking i.e food requirements, accessibility, names etc.
Can I sit on the same table as my friends?
Yes we will try to seat you with your friends if you let us know their names. Please provide the names of other guests included with your booking so we can seat you together on the same table. Also, if you know of other people who will be coming to this event and they are purchasing their own tickets separately, please add their names to the booking information or send these names in an email to email@example.com
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We are using a guest list. We will greet you and your guests at the venue and show you to your table.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
If you can no longer attend and you do not wish to transfer your ticket to another person, please notify Melbourne City Mission in writing, by email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to Friday 14 October 5pm for a refund of the ticket price (not including the fees paid). Any cancellations after this time will not be refunded.
