Description

Harvey McLemore, a former slave and successful farmer, built the oldest remaining African-American owned home in Franklin, Tennessee.

The African-American Heritage Society and The Battle of Franklin Trust are offering tours of the McLemore House two days a week. Opening hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Guided tours typically last between 30 and 40 minutes.

You must arrive at McLemore House between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm in order to take a guided tour. Parking is available on the street.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Online ticket sales end 24 hours before scheduled tour, however walk-ins are welcome.
