About this Event
MCC Meets FIA is a signature event to engage the MCC Students, Staff, Alumni & Retirees with the cultural experience of visiting the FIA gallery.
The internationally recognized Flint Institute Of Arts provides an anchor to Flint's Cultural Center. Its home to many notable collections, and boasts more than 17 galleries, special Collections and Exhibitions, Lectures & Discussions and an Art School on site. The MCC Meets FIA is a cultural experience to help expose our students, staff and alumni to the arts.
There will be rolling ceramics and glassblowing demos that evening. Items produced will be included in our prize drawings along with other fun prizes guests can vie for if they complete the" treasure hunt" remember to take a selfie and post to social media with the #MCCMEETSFIA
Guests will also be treated to an array of foods from "Italy to the Mediterranean" this is another initiative to expose students to different cultures by including foods from multiple cultures.
