The MBK Detroit Innovation Challenge Community Expo is a celebration of new ideas creating opportunity for young people of color in Detroit.

The expo features interactive exhibits from the Challenge's semi-finalist teams and a pitch competition where six organizations will be selected to receive $50,000 to grow their program. Attendees will also be able to select an additional $5,000 "Audience Favorite" recipient.

The event will also feature live music from local artists and a spoken word performance from 2018 Detroit Youth Poet Laureate, Imani Nichele.

The interactive exhibits will run from 4:30-6 p.m. with the pitch competition running from 6-9 p.m.
