Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council
The Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council is the largest nonprofit minority business advocacy organization in the region, representing the interests of more than 600,000 minority owned business, serving nearly 1,700 SCMSDC certified MBEs and 300 corporate members throughout a 13-county service area.
As one of 24 councils under the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), SCMSDC represents the interests of more than 13,000 certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) nationally and serve the procurement needs for over 300 large, public, private and foreign-owned major corporations.
In addition to offering nationally recognized MBE certification, SCMSDC offers access. Access to corporate members looking to satisfy Supplier Diversity initiatives, access to other business owners and potential partners, access to capacity building seminars and workshops through various business development offerings, access to competitive health insurance rates and access to be actively involved in the most vibrant MBE community in the country.
