cordially invite you to attend a Book Signing and Reception with Jacqueline McLeod, author of The Life of Judge Jane Bolin, Daughter of the Empire State
Judge Bolin was the first African-American woman to graduate from Yale Law School, the first to join the New York City Bar Association, and the first to join the New York City Law Department. She became the first black woman to serve as a judge in the United States when she was sworn in to the bench of the New York City Domestic Relations Court in 1939.
**Attendees who reserve books before Monday, March 25th, will receive a picture with the author. Books are $22.00 and we will only accept cash or credit cards. No personal checks will be accepted.
