District Michigan's Annual Summer Social


Saturday July 13th at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, MI


PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS

**You can buy as many tickets as you want, however, you can only purchase 6 tickets per transaction, don't forget to select your shirt size for each PAID ticket too!!. Only 250 tickets will be sold for this event.


***Must purchase tickets by July 7th to be guaranteed a t-shirt.


Each year, the Master Brewers’ Association (MBAA), District Michigan, sponsors an award for its members known as the “Peter Blum Memorial Scholarship”. The award is an extension of our mission as a member chapter of the MBAA: furthering the education of our members. We feel that by helping to increase the brewing technical knowledge of our membership, we can have a positive effect on the brewing industry in Michigan.

In past years, there has been one award for the scholarship. In 2014, for the first time, we started offering more awards to our members. Two winners of the awards will attend one of the three brewing, packaging or engineering courses offered through the national MBAA organization in Madison, Wisconsin. The third winner will get their registration fee of $1200 paid for to attend the MBAA annual meeting. The 4th winner will receive an allowance to purchase books thru the MBAA.

In order to raise money for the awards, we annually hold our Summer Social. This year’s event will be held on Saturday July 13th. It is our hope that you will purchase a ticket, donate some swag, bid on some swag, particiapte in 50/50 and have fun!!

*Price includes Michigan Craft Beer and Pit Stop BBQ and a t-shirt if you order in time!

*Lunch is served at 1:30 pm with the auction to follow- please remember to bring items to donate for the auction!!

Tickets will be sold at the door if we are not sold out, they will be $45 (no shirt with this ticket)

*This event is rain or shine- no refunds due to weather.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You need to be 21 to drink, please provide ID when signing in.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The location is located at park, and parking is available, **the cost to enter the park is $5.00 per car if you live outside of Eaton County. If you live inside of Eaton County the fee is $3.00.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

If you have a special camp chair you love, bring it!. Picnic tables are provided under the pavilion, but are limited.
