We celebrate the month of legendary experimental filmmaker Maya Deren's 106th birthday with a program of her works presented as they were meant to be seen: on 16mm film. Included is her landmark first film, Meshes of the Afternoon, which has once again proven to be an evergreen classic, moving further up the latest Sight & Sound once-in-a-decade list of all-time greatest films, to number sixteen.
Doors open at 7:30. Film starts at 8:00. Birthday cake follows films!
