About this event
Adding some flavour to the May Bank holiday weekend with a special evening Kollab. Talented poet Pete Strong and musical comedy genius Selena Mersey will be teasing you with tasters of their upcoming Fringe shows. And I have a feeling there'll be plenty more treats in store.
Update: sadly Selena can't join us due to the big C, but don't worry she'll be back another time! Do go and see her show!
There'll be open mics slots as usual so if you've got something you'd like to share, please let me know - email alice.katrina@gmail.com or there'll be a chance to sign up on the day. We encourage trying new things, and love how each time we gather there's a different sort of magic.
There's no bar here, so bring your own drinks, hot or cold, alcohol or otherwise!

PETE STRONG
Pete Strong is a poet and performance artist whose work explores memory, landscape and identity. He creates theatrical performances and installations using film, movement, spoken word, audio recordings, and found sound.
He's also a lovely person and a regular on the Brighton poetry scene.

SELENA MERSEY
Selena Mersey is a musical comedian, burlesque performer, and theatremaker. Having performed in the finals of the Musical Comedy Awards, studied with acclaimed burlesque company House of Burlesque, and made a splash on social media with 1.8 million views on TikTok, the shambolic songstress will present her hour-long debut ‘Madonna/Whore’ at this year’s Brighton Fringe.
