May Advocates Group Training: The Intersection of Childhood Experiences & D...
Tue, May 2, 2017, 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM EDT
We continue to explore the intersection of domestic violence and childhood in this training. Our facilitators, Skye Berger and Nancy Fisher, are providing our training. Skye and Nancy will be talking about using the ACEs test (Adverse Childhood Experiences) to help clients understand their own trauma history; however, they will take this a step further by showing us how to work with clients to then assess for their own child's ACEs score. These conversations with clients aim to interrupt the intergenerational cycle of trauma.
Sign in, breakfast, and coffee will begin at 8:30AM and training will begin promptly at 9.
The space is wheelchair accessible. If any other accommodations are required, please let us know.
