Event description

Description

Join us for an upcoming meeting of the DC Living Heritage Network, a consortium of Washington, DC area organizations and individuals dedicated to ensuring that DC’s vibrant heritage is collectively and continuously transmitted to current and future residents and visitors through the work of a broad spectrum of organizations, businesses and individuals.

In FY 2017, the DCLHN will continue to shape the role of the DC Cultural plan and provide valuable best practices information and networking opportunities to its members. The featured speaker for the May 25th DCLHN Monthly Meeting will be Rev. Dr. Sandra Butler-Truesdale, a DC Historian who worked for Ray Charles and James Brown as Music Historian. She is currently the Founder and Chairperson of the D.C. Legendary Musicians, Inc. Dr. Butler-Truesdale is also active as the lead minister of the Ministries, Inc., and a member of Howard Theatre Board.
