When & Where
BRIC is a cultural institution dedicated to presenting contemporary art, performing arts and community media programs that reflect Brooklyn’s diverse communities, and to providing resources and platforms to support the creative process. All of BRIC’s offerings are free or low-cost, to enhance the public’s access to, and understanding of arts and media. Each year, upwards of a million people in Brooklyn and citywide are served through our programs.
BRIC is the community media access television station for Brooklyn. Its community media programs offer Brooklyn residents free access to media production facilities and equipment and low-cost media education through the BRIC Media Education. BRIC’s community media programming also includes three programming initiatives aired on the 4-channel Brooklyn Public Network: community-produced Brooklyn Free Speech TV; BRIC-produced, Brooklyn-focused BRIC TV; and Brooklyn Bulletin Board, a 24/7 looping community calendar used by Brooklyn non-profits.
