Week 1: Wednesday, April 29, 2020 3:00 pm ET - STARTUP SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING: Everyone thinks they “know” social media marketing but how do you use it to drive real business results?

Mass Innovation Nights started with a single Tweet and over the last 11 years has driven real connections and results through social media marketing. Meanwhile, many startups still entrust their social media to an intern or the founder’s teenage nephew Eugene. (No disrespect to the Eugenes of the world.) How can you leverage social media to help build your startup? We’ll show you how you can:

  • Get started with social media marketing (including WHEN to get started)
  • Use social media to connect with potential customers, partners and investors
  • Create a social media strategy that won’t suck up all your time but still deliver results

Week 2: Thursday, May 14, 2020 3:00 pm ET - CROWDPROMOTING: How the Mass Innovation Nights community drives millions of views a month and you can too.

Over the past 11 years, Mass Innovation Nights’ (MIN) community-driven event has helped to launch more than 1500 new products that have received more than $4B in funding. But more importantly, every month the MIN community drives millions of online views and real world connections that startups use to turn into customers, partners, investors and media coverage. How can you use our “crowd-promoting” methods to grow your own community and build your business? We’ll show you how you can:

  • Get started and set yourself up for success
  • Find your people - identify the right customer (partner) for you
  • Tap your local community and turn it into real business

Week 3: Tuesday, May 26, 2020 3:00 pm ET - STARTUP PARTNERSHIPS: How partnerships and alliances can help power your startup and where you can get started today.

Over the last 11 years, Mass Innovation Nights has partnered with many local organizations, including ones that most people would consider competitors. This approach to growth has helped our organization grow while others have disappeared. You may think it is too early to consider partnerships and strategic alliances but it’s never too early. Learn more about how:

  • Community partnerships can help you grow your startup and directly impact your local business community.
  • You can identify partners and strategic alliances that can make a difference for your business
  • You can turn a competitor into a partner.

Week 4: Thursday, June 11, 2020 3:00 pm ET - MAKING LOCAL EVENTS WORK FOR YOU (Even if no one is attending events)

There are (were) more than a half-million Meetups every month. Eventbrite sold tickets last year to more than 3 million events. There are more than 92,000 professional organizations in the USA. Local business, startup and community calendars are (usually) chock full of events, networking nights, demo days and more. You could spend all your time attending these events, especially if you are a startup. Everyone seems to want you at their showcase. We’ll teach you how to decide which events will work for you and how to get the most out of the events you do attend. We’ll also talk about the COVID-19 “reality” and what it means for startups who were depending on local support to drive their new businesses. How do you connect and cope in the new world?

Week 5: Tuesday, June 23, 2020 3:00 pm ET - PUBLIC SPEAKING FOR ENTREPRENEURS: Get started, get funded. How public speaking drives funding, business success and more.

The most visible entrepreneurs are often the ones who are the most successful at getting funded, connecting with potential customers and partners, and driving business success. But it’s more than visibility - it’s the credibility and thought-leadership status that can help build your business. We’ll teach you how to identify speaking opportunities, secure them and leverage them for startup success, including funding. There are more opportunities out there than pitch nights and demo days for the savvy entrepreneur.
