Event description

For many government contractors, the prospect of selling their businesses can be an intimidating proposition, but planning how to exit a federal government contracting business is just as important as planning how to start it. It is also an important part of the government contracting business growth plan.

While deciding to sell your business may be something you have not yet considered, there are many reasons why you should begin thinking about it now. The rewards of a successful exit can be life-changing and prosperous.

Understanding the process and having good relationships in place at the start begins thinking about the end. In this half day conference, participate in the discussion with several federal government contract industry professionals as we take a closer look at the most important strategies for you to consider in this phase of your business.

As an outcome of this seminar, you can expect to:

  • Learn how and why it is necessary to prepare and plan your government contracting business for a successful exit
  • Identify the qualities that will give your government contracting business the most value
  • Identify the best potential partners to help you sell your federal government contracting business
  • Learn how to execute the deal and look for buyers
