Matters of the Heart Stage Play
Event Information
Description
Matters of the Heart is a new production originated and inspired by Diane Wilkes Tribitt (Founder of D'Lyric Inspired®️ and the Houston Vitiligo Awareness Movement) and written for the stage by playwright and director, Barbara Starkes.
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." (Proverbs 4:23)
What happens when the issues of life begin to break down individuals and tries to destroy all they have worked to build? Is a marriage as strong as it appears to be? Can temptation sway the heart of true love? Is it true when a persons heart is broken, everything tied to them begins to fall apart like pieces of a puzzle? What will it take to put the pieces back together and fix the issues?
The goal of this production is to create and deliver another powerful and riveting storyline based on real life experiences that continues the message: "Everyone has a story to tell and everything you see is not as it appears."
The production is dedicated to the Houston Vitiligo Awareness Movement (HVAM) in honor of their 1-year anniversary and their efforts to spread awareness about Vitiligo to the Houston community. Learn more about HVAM at www.houstonvitiligoawareness.com.
