ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS



Jon Berbaum joined Highland in 2007 and has performed nearly every role in the company. Over that time Jon was instrumental in leading Highland into new practice areas, as well as leading clients in a broad range of industries through customer experience strategy, product development, human-centered innovation, and CRM-based transformations. As President, Jon guides Highland’s identity and practices, and commonly serves as an experience design or product strategist on a variety of client projects.


Charissa Morgan partners with clients to identify the most important problems to solve through the lens of their customers’ experiences. Her goal is to not just be a productive problem solver, but to be transformative. She loves the “a-ha” moments working with teams where clarity is achieved, connection is cultivated, and creative strategy aligns with the needs of the client and their customers.

Charissa’s drive to be a champion of human flourishing through human-centric experience design is fueled by her psychology background and years of experience leading cross-functional teams to identify and overcome growth opportunities in nonprofit leadership and business consulting. Outside of work, Charissa can get passionate about fresh food markets, road biking, discovering new artists, traveling global and thinking local.
