Matilda Wormwood is an unusually bright and charming girl but is unloved, unwanted, and unseen by her parents. Her teacher, the lovely Miss Honey, immediately sees and recognizes Matilda's intelligence and imagination. Miss Honey and Matilda have a profound effect on each other's lives, finding the courage and power to stand up and stand strong when something's not right, especially when it comes to the school's evil headmistress- Miss Trunchbull.
