Caroline Till of FranklinTill, Kate Goldsworthy of the Centre for Circular Design talk with crafting plastics! designer Vlasta Kubušová on the necessity to incorporate the afterlife of materials and products as a standard part of the design process.

Part of 'Material Consequences' - the theme for the 2018 programme in the Brompton Design District during the London Design Festival; questioning and rethinking materials and waste. Curated by Jane Withers Studio.


During London Design Festival 2018 crafting plastics! studio are part of Brompton's programme with the exhibition FEEL FREE TO CONSUME - an interactive installation and collection of ready-to-wear products and objects based on studio’s research in Nuatan - a new generation of bioplastic material.

FranklinTill is part of Bromton's programme during the London Design Festival 2018 with the pop-up 'Guilt-Free?' - exploring the brands, organisations and individuals changing the way we design, make and consume. The studio behind the book Radical Matter and Viewpoint magazine will be presenting design and material innovation that can appease our increasing social and environmental conscience. Over the course of 9 days FranklinTill will be hosting key collaborators to activate the space through a dynamic programme of exhibitions, workshops and talks, aiming to provide inspiration and tools to help navigate the complex sustainable agenda and guide towards circular design approaches.
