Matchmaking Event - Virtual Meetings
The purpose of the SADBOC Government Procurement Virtual Training Week Matchmaking event is to facilitate a private meeting between a small business like yours and a buyer from a government agency or large prime contractor that typically buys the type of product/service that you are selling.
- The appointments will be scheduled every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a. m. and will be conducted over the phone or by virtual meeting room.
- Meetings will be 10 minutes in length.
- You will be expected to email your capability statement to the buyer prior to your meeting and attend the scheduled call or meeting with the buyer.
- Be clear and concise in describing your goods/services in the registration process.
The appointments are based on a match between the product/service offered and the type of product/service typically purchased by the individual buyer.
Most small businesses that register for matchmaking will get one or two appointments. Some will not get any. It depends on what the buyers have identified as a current need.
