Event description

National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs (NCs) are partnerships between digital skills actors in Member States who work together to improve digital skills at national, regional or local level. They collaborate in areas such as increasing industry-led training, certifying skills, improving school and university curricula, and raising awareness about ICT careers, especially among young people and women.

A pledge to the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition* (DSJC) is a concrete commitment made by an organisation to carry out an action to reduce the digital skills gap in Europe.Commitments range from teacher training, reskilling job seekers, actions targeting ICT professionals and people working in different sectors to helping people learn digital skills.

To date 17 National Coalitions have been formed and more than 60 organisations have made pledges.

This teleconference will be an opportunity for NCs and pledgers to share ideas on how to collaborate and scale up their activities. NCs from the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia will present their priorities, actions and areas of possible r cooperation with Pledgers. Pledgers will present their pledges. This will result in an impactful matchmaking session be able to investigate whether their actions could be replicable and scalable in the region.
