Federal agencies purchase over $500B in goods and services each year and 23% of all prime contracts are designated for small businesses.

About this event

In this webinar, a panel of Federal Agencies operating in Northern California will provide an overview of their agencies, what they buy, where they solicit, small business spend/goal achievements, where to find each agency’s procurement forecast of opportunities, and agency specific programs (i.e., VA’s Vet’s First Program, etc.).

Confirmed US federal agencies participating: National Park Service, Bureau of Reclamation, NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) & NASA Ames Research Center (ARC), Department of Agriculture, Department of the Air Force, Department of Veteran Affairs, Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA), Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento and S.F. Districts, & Veterans Health Administration.

The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) is an agency of the U.S. Department of the Interior and operates in the 17 western states. Reclamation’s mission is to assist in meeting the increasing water demands of the West while protecting the environment and the public's investment in these structures. To help accomplish this, Reclamation purchases a wide range of products and services.

Reclamation is dedicated to providing continuous outreach and assistance to small business, small disadvantaged, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses in support of Federal socio-economic development programs.

Northern California Procurement Technical Assistance Center provides no-cost government contracting counseling, bid matching, and training for businesses located in our 15-county service area in Northern California.

Northern California Procurement Technical Assistance Center (Norcal PTAC) helps small businesses find, bid on, and win contracts with federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.

We serve the following Northern California counties: Del Norte, Humboldt, Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Marin, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Clara.
