Mastering LinkedIn, A Practical Business Approach is a 3-hour workshop chock full of information, strategy, and how-to's that will help you increase your network, improve your level of engagement with your contacts, and actually get business on LinkedIn. In the workshop, you will learn:

  1. The essential elements you need to make your profile complete
  2. How to get found when businesses search for your skills on LinkedIn
  3. How to protect your privacy on LinkedIn
  4. Techniques to get found when businesses search for your skills
  5. How to manage LinkedIn email and messages
  6. Strategies for how and to whom to connect
  7. How to give and get endorsements and recommendations
  8. How to join groups, participate in discussions, and generate leads
  9. How to set up a LinkedIn Company page
  10. Answer the question of whether or not to pay for premium service
  11. Learn about the possibilities of LinkedIn ad campaigns
  12. Learn how to blog on LinkedIn

This workshop is limited to 15 attendees. Prior to the workshop, all registered attendees must have a LinkedIn profile with their name and company, and they must be able to log into their profile.

About the Speaker

Marketing Consultant Jennifer Beever has been using LInkedIn since 2004 and speaking about how to get results from LinkedIn since 2007. She speaks to business and professional groups in Los Angeles as well as to associations nationwide on LinkedIn, social media and marketing strategy. Her clients find her on through referrals as well as online through LInkedIn and Google searches.

Jennifer has consulted on and optimized her clients' LinkedIn profiles so that they get found when business owners search LinkedIn for their skill sets. In some cases, she has been able to get her clients on page one of the LinkedIn search results for specific keywords and geographies. Jennifer has also been engaged to do lead generation through LinkedIn. With her knowledge of LinkedIn and her sales and marketing communications skills, she has generated reports of qualified lead information for her clients.

With a background in B2B sales and marketing for software, technology and manufacturing companies, Jennifer has a unique ability to analyze business situations and apply practical marketing programs that get results for her clients. Her experience in marketing technology products and services provides her with special talent in translating the technical into stories that sell for her clients.

Jennifer is an Inbound Marketing Certified Professional with Honors Distinction certification, which recognizes proficiency in Inbound Marketing principles and best practices, including blogging, social media, lead conversion, lead nurturing, and closed-loop analysis. Only 15% of IMCPs receive Honors Distinction. She received her MBA from Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School.
