A 2 Day Masterclass on Designing New Growth Strategies and Ventures through Corporate Entrepreneurship & Strategic Innovation.

Every successful company must eventually answer the same basic question: How do you establish new growth strategies and business opportunities from within your organization? This workshop was developed to help you answer that question.

The Art of Opportunity is about how strategic innovation and business design thinking can grow existing businesses and create completely new ones by discovering opportunities for new growth and crafting strategies to seize these opportunities. Marc Sniukas, DBA - Author & Keynote Speaker, Professor, Partner at Territory, a global strategy and innovation consultancy.

Dr. Marc Sniukas is a global expert on strategic innovation and corporate entrepreneurship, author of The Art of Opportunity (Wiley 2016), co-founder of The Business Model Gallery – The World’s Largest Business Model Database at www.businessmodelgallery.com and member of the founding team of Territory, a global strategy and innovation consulting company (www.territory.co).

Marc partners with leadership teams and their organizations on topics of strategy, growth, innovation, and transformation. Besides his corporate work, Marc is on the global faculty of Duke Corporate Education and has run courses and given guest lectures at leading business schools, including Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, the Boston University School of Management, the European Business School London, Tec de Monterrey, and CEDIM School of Design & Innovation, among others.

Marc holds a doctor of business administration (DBA) degree from Alliance Manchester Business School and a master’s degree in business, economics, and social sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and he studied training and organizational development at Salzburg University Business School.

Dan Toma - Author - The Corporate Startup

Dan Toma is an innovation thought leader and the author The Corporate Startup (Vakmedien, 2017)

Dan comes from an entrepreneurial background. He has been involved with technology startups across the world and is an innovation community leader in Europe. Puzzled by the questions ‘why are innovative products mainly launched by startups?’, he focuses on enterprise innovation strategy - specifically on the changes blue-chip organizations need to make to allow for new ventures to be built in a corporate setting. In this capacity he worked with companies like Deutsche Telekom, Bosch, Jaguar Land Rover, Bayer, John Deere or Allianz.

A big proponent of the ecosystem approach to innovation, Dan has also worked with various government bodies, in Asia and Europe, helping developing national innovation ecosystems and implement national innovation strategies.

The work experience gathered from the public and private sector has been translated into various experiential courses that Dan has delivered for universities such as Royal Academy of Engineering or the University of Applied Science Rhein-Main.

Dan holds a dual degree MBA from Bradford University and TiasNimbas Business School while being certified lean startup acceleration specialist by Columbia University though the Lean Launchpad program.
