Event description

Description

Does your power go out often? Do your lights flicker?

What kind of service panel do you have? Have you ever opened it?

Electricity makes our lives easy and safe - as long as we understand some basics about it. Some people are so afraid of it they ignore things they should not, and some are so careless they cause serious dangers.

This class will teach you what you really need to know about your home electrical system for the safety and protection of your family and home. You'll learn from Master Electrician Mike Abernethy if and when you need an electrician needs to be called, and how to hire one.

Open to the public.
The cost is $10 (scholarships available - call 304.720.0141 ex.18)
LIMITED SEATING

This class is offered as part of Habitat for Humanity's Master Homeowner Program, but individuals who are not enrolled in the full certificate program may attend this class as space allows.
