Event description

Description

What we don't know will hurt us and our families.

We only think we know about fire. If enough of us did, there would be fewer life and property losses to fire.

Our past classes have shown that people know the LEAST about this subject! This class will teach you the simplest, easy steps to fire prevention. You will also learn how being prepared is the best we can do. The local fire department teaches this important class -- including hands-on how to use a fire extinguisher.
This class is a must for every homeowner.

Open to the public.
The cost is $10 (scholarships available - call 304.720.0141 ex.18).
LIMITED SEATING

This eye-opening, hands-on class is offered as part of Habitat for Humanity's Master Homeowner Program, but individuals who are not enrolled in the full certificate program may attend this class as space allows.
