Master Gardeners are volunteers who are interested in sharing their horticultural training and experiences with others through educational gardening projects and by using applied research and resources of the University of Georgia. During the first year after completion of the course, volunteers are required to complete 50 hours of service. Each year following, volunteers give 25 hours of service to their community. Applications may be picked up at the Spalding County Extension Office at 835 Memorial Drive, Griffin, Georgia 30223 or downloaded from www.ugaextension.org/spalding.
