Mast Brothers Factory Dinner with Underground Food Collective
Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 7:00 PM (EDT)
Join us in welcoming our friends from Madison, Wisconsin's Underground Food Collective for October's Chocolate Factory Dinner.
The Underground family of eateries is steering the conversation about what it means to farm and feast in the heartland. This collectively run bunch is firmly rooted in Wisconsin’s prodigious gifts for growing delicious food, but they’ve got a major case of culinary wanderlust when it comes to the globally inspired tastes and techniques of their inventive, refined fare. At each of its four Madison businesses—celebrated restaurant Forequarter, butchery and specialty food shop Underground Butcher, charcuterie haven Underground Meats, and ultra-seasonal Underground Catering—the collective eschews traditional culinary hierarchy, cooking as a team. They’re bringing that collaborative spirit plus an abundance of Wisconsin crops and meat along for their Chocolate Factory Dinner. Join us and eat like a Midwesterner.
Each Chocolate Factory Dinner is a festive, intimate meal in our flagship factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The gatherings feature guest chefs who are invited to stretch their culinary creativity, using the unique flavors and uncommon quality of Mast Brothers chocolate as a springboard to create a meal that reflects their signature style. Each dinner is a multi-course affair, and beverage pairings for each course are included.
Book early, as our communal table seats just 18 guests.
Mast Brothers Chocolate is a pioneering bean-to-bar craft chocolate company founded in 2007 in Brooklyn, New York. Brothers Rick and Michael are co-founders, owners, and master chocolate makers.
