Mast Brothers Factory Dinner with Joseph Ogrodnek of Battersby and Dover
Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 7:00 PM (EST)
Join us in welcoming Joseph Ogrodnek of Battersby and Dover for December’s Chocolate Factory Dinner.
First, there was postage stamp-sized Battersby and its kale salad heard 'round the world. Next came Dover, an (ever-so-slightly) enlarged stage for Ogrodnek and partner Walker Stern’s sophisticated fare. Now, each night of service at both restaurants marks more courses of reimagining, reinventing, and adding another line to the narrative about eating Brooklyn-style. The chef-owners cook with rigorous technique cribbed from the classic Manhattan kitchens where they learned, but Battersby and Dover balance meticulous preparation with the friendly, easy spontaneity for which their home borough is known.
Each Chocolate Factory Dinner is a festive, intimate meal in our flagship factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The gatherings feature guest chefs who are invited to stretch their culinary creativity, using the unique flavors and uncommon quality of Mast Brothers chocolate as a springboard to create a meal that reflects their signature style. Each dinner is a multi-course affair, and beverage pairings for each course are included.
Book early, as our communal table seats just 18 guests.
Wine pairings selected by Slope Cellars.
