Mast Brothers Factory Dinner with Chef Joshua McFadden
Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 7:00 PM (EDT)
McFadden’s ingenuity with unsung heroes of the garden has made him a star among Portland’s talent-thick dining scene. Stumptown Coffee owner Duane Sorenson took notice, and together they opened Ava Gene’s, soon followed by Roman Candle Bakery. In a previous life, McFadden donned aprons at New York hot spots Momofuku, Blue Hill, and Franny’s before being lured away by the siren song of hand-harvested vegetables. He farmed in Maine and with the Sustainable Food Project in Rome before heading west to dig into the rustic, Italian-inspired food for which he’s become known. Fill up on this Portland energy during his New York homecoming.
Each Chocolate Factory Dinner is a festive, intimate meal in our flagship factory in Williamsburg. The gatherings feature guest chefs who are invited to stretch their culinary creativity, using the unique flavors and uncommon quality of Mast Brothers chocolate as a springboard to create a meal that reflects their signature style. Each dinner is a multi-course affair, and beverage pairings for each course are included.
Book early, as our communal table seats just 18 guests.
