Event Summary: Two robots compete in a head-to-head match following the basic system of traditional human sumo matches. Robots are allowed no weapons, and are not allowed to flip each other. The sole purpose is a pushing match between the two robots to force the other from the arena.

Competition format will be a Modified Swiss. Each robot will get a minimum of four matches. At the end of the qualification matches, all robots will be ranked based on the performance during the day and the top four will compete in a single elimination tournament for the Gompei cup.
Tournament Structure and Schedule:
We will once again be running our modified-Swiss style of competition, ensuring every 'bot gets to fight at least 4 times. Highest-scoring four will be entered into a short double-elimination tournament to crown the robot President.
Schedule is shamelessly copied from previous events:
9:00 AM Doors open. Come in, Get check in and inspected
10:00 AM Check in for combat Ends
10:30 AM Drivers meeting and match schedules distributed
11:00 AM Round one of fights start
12:00 PM Approximate lunch break for combat
1:00 PM Approximate Semi Finals period
3:00 PM Clean Up
