You are cordially invited to attend one of four upcoming Massachusetts Traffic Safety Partnership Forums,hosted by the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, Office of Grants and Research, Highway Safety Division (EOPSS/OGR/HSD).

These discussions will share information about the current state of traffic safety and trends in Massachusetts, identify and discuss new evidence-based initiatives and programs, establish grant funding priorities, and develop/enhance partnerships to facilitate future programs.

Please join us to help shape our future traffic safety programs and funding priorities. There is no cost to attend and participation in these events is not limited EOPSS/OGR/HSD grant recipients.

Each forum will include a variety of traffic safety stakeholders such as: law enforcement, pedestrian and bicycle safety advocates, public health officials, school administrators and educators, parent/teacher organizations, school resource officers, researchers, elected officials, faith-based organizations, district attorneys, judges, community groups, alcohol and marijuana regulators and industry representatives, etc.

We hope to discuss traffic safety topics such as: seat belt usage, child passenger safety, law enforcement, younger and older drivers, alcohol/drug impaired driving, distracted driving, drowsy driving, motorcyclists, pedestrians, bicyclists, speeding and aggressive driving, traffic offense adjudication, emergency medical services, medical care, fleet safety, work place driver safety, driver education/curriculum, etc.

The mission of EOPSS/OGR/HSD is to facilitate the development and implementation of policies, programs, and partnerships to help reduce fatalities, injuries, and economic losses resulting from motor vehicle crashes on the roadways of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Please consider attending one of these sessions and help us work toward eliminating roadway crashes.
