MASS THROWDOWN: Compare, contrast and maybe even vote as you explore diverse settings of the Mass with us. The works of the four composers we've selected use varied forces and cross continents and lines of race and gender. You will hear works by Imogene Holst, Benjamin Britten, Kevin Allen and McNeil Robinson. With Holly Druckman, guest conductor, and Justin Murphy-Mancini, organ.

ABOUT SERAPHIM: Seraphim performs choral music in creative programs that consistently explore spiritual themes of divine transcendence, human longing, suffering and protest - inviting you to explore significant contemporary issues with us. Our repertoire is diverse, ranging from the early Renaissance to the twenty-first century and includes new works generated through our ongoing commissioning program. Conductor Jennifer Lester leads about 25 singers in emotional and musically engaging performances of challenging and rewarding music that will speak to you personally in finding beauty, depth of emotion and clarity of vision.
