Trip Leader Name: Jonathan Fearer & Geoff Hill

Trip Leader Email: Jonathan, fearer594@gmail.com || Geoff, ghillaero@yahoo.com

Description: Ready for a hike to get the blood pumping early in the season? Mason Lake is where you want be on Saturday! The hike is out and back at 6.5 miles with 2,420 feet of elevation gain. The trail is well maintained with beautiful views all along the hike, especially of McClellan Butte and other notable peaks along the I-90 corridor during the ascent. At the crest of the ridge we'll dive into the woodland and shortly thereafter reach picturesque Mason Lake with Bandera Mountain looming above. Please arrive on time at the church so that the group can make it to the trailhead in a timely manner. (The Ira Spring Trailhead is very popular as it provides access to many desirable hiking destinations.) Looking forward to hiking with you!

NOTE: Photo above shows snow, but this hike will be free of snow.
