Event description
Time Out Youth and Charlotte Pride join forces to produce a one-of-a-kind Mask-Queerade Bar Crawl!

About this event

Join Time Out Youth and Charlotte Pride on Saturday, October 23rd as they join forces to produce a one-of-a-kind Mask-Queerade Bar Crawl!

In order to make this a safe crawl, we got a little creative! The crawl will kick off at The Suffolk Punch where we will have check-in and t-shirt pick up. In order to encourage social distancing, we will be staggering the check-in times. When you register, choose from 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, or 2:30 p.m. as your arrival time.

Instead of a set route going from one place to another, we will provide a list of all the participating venues and their specials along with their hours. You decide where you want to go, and when to enjoy! Make sure to wear your shirt to get your specials and to say "Hi!" to other Mask-Queerade crawlers!

Tickets are $20 ($25 the day of) and include:

  • An official Mask-Queerade event t-shirt
  • Food and/or Drink specials at participating venues
  • Free covers at all participating venues
  • Map and timeline of the route

NOTE: MASKS ARE REQUIRED & SOCIAL DISTANCING IS ENFORCED BY ALL PARTICIPATING VENUES. Vaccinations are highly encouraged.

PARTICIPATING VENUES:

Specials to be announced soon!

Certain venues are donating a % of drinks sold to the non-profits, so drink up! 100% of the ticket and donation proceeds will be split between both of these amazing organizations!

CONTESTS: During the crawl, take a fun photo and upload it to your Instagram account. Tag both organizations (@TimeOutYouthCenter and @CLTPride) and use our hashtag #MaskQueeradeCLT to be entered to win a pair of 2022 Charlotte Pride Festival VIP passes as well as 2 Limited Edition 2021 Pride T-shirts! The top photo wins!

DO NOT FORGET YOUR ID!! It will be checked at every participating bar that you choose to go to. All participants must be 21 years old or older.

WEATHER: The bar crawl is rain or shine.

TRANSPORTATION: Be safe and have a great time! Attendees are highly encouraged to take the light rail or rideshare. Bring along a designated driver to enjoy the crawl with you!
