About this Event

Have you taken a basic GAPs course and are ready for the next step in on farm food safety? Are you a Maryland produce farmer pursuing a buyer who requires USDA Harmonized GAP Audits? The Maryland Food Safety Network is here to help with a 1 hour morning webinar series during the months of February and March 2021. This Advanced GAPs Webinar Series will break down key aspects in preparing for a Harmonized GAP audit, as well as convey pertinent food safety updates to prepare you for the 2021 season.

Webinar Series Registration Information

  • Sign up for as many webinars as you can attend! Each webinar will take place from 7:00am- 8:00am EST on Zoom and will provide registered attendees a certificate of completion. Registration is free but required to access the live webinars. One day prior to training, a link will be sent to the email you provide with webinar login information. Webinar recordings will be available to view on

  • This webinar series is recommended for produce farmers who have a written food safety plan and are looking for more in-depth guidance to implementing food safety programs on the farm. If you need assistance in food safety basics or constructing a food safety plan for your operation, check out our Basic GAP workshop at
  • Attending these webinars does not suffice the regulatory requirement § 112.22(c) of the FSMA Produce Safety Rule. A separate training addresses this, which can be found at the above link.
